Being a highly experienced nurse, as well as a patient family member, and having worked in home health in the field and office has left me to see both sides of the patient experience. I can't express enough how wonderful these people are. From Amanda, Brandon, Penny, and Melissa out in the field to Alan and Michelle in the office, they are definitely doing something right. For everyone to have such amazing talent, skills, attitude, and positive morale, someone is doing something exactly right. I suggest that all home care agencies learn from them. They took what was to be the most negative experience in the life of an elderly woman and turned it into something that puts a smile on her face whenever someone from Valley Med shows up. Because of them, our stressful situation was more than manageable. They also didn't discharge her when she had different circumstances but transitioned her care to follow her back into the hospital and home again, which made it easier on all of us. I don't give out 5 stars very easily because in the medical field, we believe someone can always be improved. This time, however, I can't find anything to improve upon. Keep up the great work!

My husband and his family where faced with a very difficult situation when it came to providing home care services for a loved one. The event that caused the need for home care was complicated as well as the family dynamics of the relationship in that there was some resistance to receiving care. Michele, Alan, and the rest of the team stepped in and took over where others were unsuccessful. The team graciously received input from several of our family members, though sometimes it was conflicting information, they were never rude or argumentative. This alone resulted in a new and positive attitude. There patience and understanding, along with their professionalism and excellent service, including providing a written schedule, showing up as scheduled and always on time, resulted in an extremely positive outcome. Most importantly they made the client feel important and positive. All of the nurses and therapist communicated effectively with each other and the client. We highly recommend Valley Med.
