Not a great hospice at all
Theresa
if you have someone who needs a hospice company I DO NOT RECOMMEND Lutheran Senior Life VNA on Hindman road Butler PA they failed to have supply's delivered on time and then they didn't order the pain management kit till my dad got picked up at the hospital and it took over 5 hrs to get here. unfortunately it arrived to late and my father died in alot of pain. filed a complaint and all they will do is change the pharmacy company they use.

If you have a port or PICC line I would not use this company. Most staff are not sufficiently trained to handle this. You also are assigned a specific nurse but rarely see that nurse and are pushed off on someone that is incompetent. I am an RN and was highly disappointed with the nursing care I received as well as the treatment from office staff following issues.
Jae Fleissner
The nursing care with the VNA is good, but the administration, who controls the certifications, the supplies, the scheduling, etc. Is horrible. If you have an urgent matter don't expect to get help right away, in fact they even may accidentally hang up on you, or transfer your call three times, and then the third person has no idea why you are calling. My advice. Look elsewhere.

The agency does not communicate w/the nurses and the nurses do not communicate w/the agency- poor quality of treatment
