Our daughter is profoundly challenged in every way. We have used Aveanna home health to help care for her and provide us with much needed breaks. She had nursing from 7:30 - 4pm. Five days a week. Although she is approved for 60 hours. It’s been difficult to fine regular nursing Monday and Tuesday and now we have none on those days. Our Wednesday Thursday Friday nurse has decided she wants her Fridays off. So we now have Wednesday and Thursday help. Avenna told me at the beginning of the month they had new hires and would send a few for meet and greet. It is now end of month and they haven’t reached out to us. I have contacted them twice since beginning of the month. This agency does not follow up with what they tell the parents. Not at all. They will tell you what you need to hear and then you will not hear back from them. It is the poorest communication I’ve ever seen. Then know we are stuck. Home health care is a joke!!! I've had aveanna nursing for my grandson for @ 3 years. At first I was not impressed, due to it took 6 mnrhs to get a nurse but there is a nurse shortage. I can't say enough good about them.they are always on top of supplies we need and checking in on our services.also the nurse we have is on top of things and she is very good with my grandson. She takes care of so much and it has been such a stress releiver for me, as I'm a grandparent, I don't have the energy I once did and I can't keep up with the ever changing medical needs my grandson has. Would highly recommend them.

Aveanna works with my 4 year old autistic daughter in the school setting. I can't say enough great things. The schedule we have is not easy, and they have found the perfect caregivers to team up and advocate for our girl. They remember her birthday, celebrate holidays (with the safe distancing these days) like Halloween and Easter even surprising us with Christmas gift! They don't just do hands on care by keeping her safe and clean... they truly care!

They have a lack of communicate with each other and don't call to let you know when your nurses call off. They are very unorganized and do not follow through with anything they discuss with you. I have complained several times and have not gotten any results.
