Skilled nursing? Useless. Patient discharged from hospital after L1 compression fracture and pneumonia. First visit, 4 days after discharge, consisted of an hour going over paperwork and information that was readily available online. Had no history on patient. Took BP, temp and pulse oximeter. Said the next visit would be a thorough exam and assess for services, which are only good for another 6 days. Didn't even examine site of fracture. A billable, but wasted visit. Was an RN could have been done by a bot. Communication was difficult because she didn't listen when answers were given. Scheduling is also a mess. You have less than 24 hours to arrange to accommodate the related service whether it is OT, PT or nursing. They receive their schedule after 4:00 pm and then call to arrange a time to visit. Great if no one is working or has any other obligations, but unfortunately this is the real world where people have to pay their bills.
