My Aunt was on Hospice for less than a week prior to her passing on 11-19-24. Laura and Alyssa were attentive, knowledgeable, professional, helpful kind to me and tender with my Aunt. Being a hospice volunteer myself for over 20 years, I had high expectations for the quality of care I wanted my Aunt to receive. They were both “there” for my Aunt, physically as well as for me, emotionally. I highly recommend VNS of LECOM.

It is very hard for me to express how horrific our experience was with Lecom. We put our trust that they truly had our dads "quality of life" in their best interest. Instead we learned that they only had their own interests at heart. The nurses were as helpful as a paper bag blowing in the wind. And spent most of their time lying to us about medication and treatments instead of focusing their care on our dying father whose only wish was to not go in pain. If it was not for our families intervention on his behalf i believe he would have suffered far more. Please if you have a loved one who is considering their services i would strongly recommend using another agency.

The left hand doesn't know what the right is doing. The nurse was supposed to come the day after my husband got out of the hospital- I called 3 days later & was told the nurse was coming that day a Friday.... never showed up till Monday & she said he wasn't on the schedule on Friday. The next week, the nurse called in sick & we were never notified until I messaged the other nurse from the previous week. I called Lecom because my husband has to have bloodwork every week especially the week of his cancer treatment- NEVER received a call back. Then a different nurse came & she kinked my husband's PICC line... thank God our kids are RN's and fixed it. I called again telling them we don't want that nurse coming again... NEVER received a call back & that nurse ended up being scheduled to come. That was the last straw & we fired them. They showed us they not only don't care but are extremely disorganized & my husband's health is way more important! I will add that there was a couple of good nurses and the way the office is ran is not their fault but overall - this place should NOT be in business! They have people's lives in their hands & that is terrifying for people who don't/can't advocate for themselves!

A close friend of mine had surgery that ended with a colostomy. I had been going over and helping her by changing her colostomy as needed. No nurse taught my friend how to change the bag until after she needed help at 2:00am and when she called and spoke to the on -call nurse she was told, “we will not be sending anyone to help you because we don’t have people on nights to do that”. That is a complete lie and this came from the supervisor so if I were looking for nurses to come into my home and help my family or myself I would NEVER choose this operation!!! They are about money obviously and not the patient. They should be ashamed of themselves!

I had home health care after having a TKR (total knee replacement). Michelle was wonderful in the information, direction, & guidance she gave me. She listened to my concerns & gave me great advice. She was honest about what I was going to experience and told me that doing my exercises was key in recouping in a timely manner. I am thrilled with the progress I have made in only 2 weeks.
