Who likes therapy? I sure didn’t! That having been said and admitted, I liked and appreciated my therapists. They pushed me, ‘tis true, but they also taught me to pace myself. I appreciate both stances. I hope I *never* need therapy of any sort again, but if I do, I’d want it to be its you folks.

I cannot say enough, good things about the folks who work for Amedisys Home healthcare! that I worked with They were outstanding in their knowledge and profession and courteous and fun on top of all of that. It was a wonderful experience. It helped me enormously! Thank you all for your time and expertise!

Really pleased with the care and professionalism by all of the staff we encountered, especially Sal, Kenny and Amber. They all showed they really care about their patients. In a short period of time they were able to help nurse my mother back from not being able to walk to now being fully functional.

i’m upset because I was told I’d have these guys for eight sessions all of them. I did not have them for eight sessions. The one girl the PT girl was nice but I didn’t know today was the last day it was not eight sessions. I saw a guy who was OT and I think I saw him maybe three days and the last day was like a half an hour he didn’t wanna do anything because he was trying to get me to go up the steps and he’s the one that told me that the steps in the banister was unsafe in my house, but why couldn’t he try to teach me something else or work on something else with me then I had a nurse come in which I had to dismiss immediately because I had given her and her boss information not to park near the cars that were here and she did she didn’t go into the right place and she also chose a chair that was not the one that was meant for them to sit on she decided to pick a different chair with scratched up my wooden floor, which I still would like to be paid for and because of where she parked her car got tapped, but I don’t think that that was why her car was damaged she had admitted to my friend that her car was hit the week before which makes more sense because there was no black paint transfer in my friend’s car. I don’t know what color the other car was from the week before and plus she never did call to have her boyfriend look at the car like she said she was gonna put my friend being as honest as he is. He told his insurance company to call them the third nurse that I had she was nice but I thought I’d be seeing her more so and then I know nurses don’t do a lot. They just come and check your BP pulse ask a few questions and that’s about it but I thought I’d be seeing her more than two times I was told I was gonna see her the one week she never showed never heard from her at all then this week literally was told when I saw the PT person that she was definitely gonna be here tomorrow, which wa yesterday and no call no show no text. I didn’t even get to say goodbye to her. Didn’t get to ask what’s going on and I’m still confused as to why I didn’t get to see them as long as I was told I would get to see them so I feel like they didn’t really care enough about my health to finish the job and I am very upset and sad because I feel like I should’ve been told at least more than days ahead of time that they were cutting me short and with an explanation versus just stop seeing me I did not know that yesterday was gonna be my last day with PT. I did not know that yesterday was gonna be a no-show with the nurse I knew that Aaron didn’t show up but he said that I could get him back anytime so I kept asking the PT lady and I said the nurse you and Aaron and that was his name by the way also said that the steps looked unsafe for me to go up and down, so that’s why he didn’t wanna take me up there because the banister is loose. I don’t have a landlord that’ll fix it. The steps are built the way they are. Yeah several people fell down them before there’s nothing to grab onto and not me being on the heavier side I go to grab something if I do lose my balance, I could be devastating, but there could’ve been something else besides teaching me how to walk up steps which I do know how to walk up and down steps it’s just my knees are weak. I’m still waiting for a brace which they knew I was waiting for so there could’ve been other things that we could’ve tried even a makeshift thing of steps or hey, let’s try going outside and go up and down the couple steps that are outside and pretend you’re getting into a bathtub because I did have a shower chair nothing like that was brought up. I feel like I’m the one that was thinking of ideas and none of them were being tried out and here I am now without nobody again, and I just don’t feel like that was treated fairly the most fairest person though was the PT person her name is Kelly, but I still feel like she should’ve gave me the rest of the eight times that she was supposed to be here. I do have it in writing to prove it and I would like to speak to somebody to figure something out.

The nurses were all pleasant, knowledgable and helpful. We enjoyed the company as much as the professional help. They helped with wound care and even provided us with gauze pads to use as well as keeping record of blood pressure and numbers. I was concerned about the fluid that collects and they listened for me to help track that also Thank you lovely women for the help and encouragement you provided Amedisys is a very helpful and often necessary service
