Aveanna has been providing care for my son for more than 8 years now and I am currently working on setting up care for my grandson. When I first started home health care for my son more than 10 years ago we had used 2 other agencies and did not have very good experiences with them. Any issues that I have had while being with Aveanna were back in the very beginning and were related to the aide/s that were staffed to my son and those issues were solely the fault of the aide and not the agency, but I can say that any issue I had in regards to an aide, Aveanna took seriously and handled appropriately. The office staff and clinical team are absolutely amazing people and they work very hard to support and help your family, they definitely go above and beyond any agency that we have ever used. From the staff in the office, James, Ally, Chase, and Jenny, to the clinical nurses and home health aides, Darby, Tina, and Josh, (and this just names a few as they are who I have the most contact with), my family would be lost without them, and I may have lost my mind by now dealing with doctors and insurance without their support and hard work! My family and I thank you all for your hard work, compassion, and dedication and we are so grateful to have you all as part of our support system!

Had unprofessional and negligent aides caring for my child. Besides my child falling and hurting themselves numerous times under their “watch”, one aide abandoned her shift and the office wanted to “talk it through” and send her back which was appalling. We were sent another aide who turned out to be insane, one day began yelling at me as she left our home when asked a question about documentation, then reported to the agency that I had pushed her and took her phone. They should not be employing mentally unfit teenagers for this line of work and my child was discharged from services due to this aide’s crazed allegations. In addition , I have been trying to obtain my child’s records and had sent the request on the form they sent me over 2 months ago . I had emailed James multiple times asking for updates and have received 0 response. At this point we have an attorney involved and will be taking further steps to address the issues that occurred while under this agency’s “care” as well as the inability to obtain records which per HIPPA laws are not to be withheld.

I had them provide care for my mom for years. Then they started sending people who were abusive to my mom as well as people who were providing illegal work documents. I even had a care giver leave my mom who has had multiple strokes at the hospital without telling anyone to go drive her son around. After this they ignore my phone calls to resolve issues. It is disgusting how they treat the patients and family now. My whole family got covid from an aid.... my mom and I are both I immunologically impaired and they sent her and she knew she was positive

Recently found out that the LPN that cares for our daughter is positive for COVID and we were never notified. Completely irresponsible. She’s with us every other weekend.
