The Wested
The service they provided my father was above and beyond expectations.

They have hurt me very bad with mistrust and discharged me with out notice due to me seeking medical inpatient services. They fire there staff and then suggest I seek hospice as an alternative to care to meet my needs. The workers came to my home very hungry missing meals and one worker was very dizzy and it scared me bad that she was starving . Nurses can not change my catheter and I am now told to go to the hospital to get it changed. Unprofessional character is what you will receive if you even decided to try to let them care for you. Rude nasty arrogant behavior comes from administration I can not tell a person enough to please think twice before putting your loved one over to VNA Alliance I had Horrible experience towards the end of having them It is wrong to ask me to go to Hospice due to there lack of employees

If I could give a zero I would! One star is way too many in my experience. Communication is absolutely terrible. My daughter needed home health nursing for wound care. Supplies were discussed with the nurses every day. We were told that they would let the manager know. I spoke personally with the clinical manager on two separate occasions to discuss and make her aware that we were very low on supplies and I was given some upon discharge from the hospital but they weren’t going to last long. On both occasions she said she was going to follow up and get back to me. She never returned my call. The person who answers the phone is not overly helpful nor friendly. Twelve days out from my daughter’s discharge from the hospital and we ran out of supplies. The clinical manager knew at my last discussion with her that I only had enough for the following day. Leaving a patient who has an open wound without supplies is certainly not the standard of care for a home health agency. Never again will my family seek home health needs from VNA Alliance.

I wish that I could give them less than 1 star. I am an occupational therapist myself and find it unacceptable that my father won't be getting PT or OT until 6 days post return from the hospital NWB. When I called to ask why he hasn't had an evaluation completed yet on Friday (3 days post return home) they said "I'm not sure but they won't be there until Monday because they are full". I asked if they could move him up and they firmly answered "no" with no other explanation. Unbelievable patient care!

Called with a 9:30 am appointment to visit house no show at 12:30 called company who said oh yes on schedule today we will call Michelle and she will get back to you. Of coarse she did at 6pm leaving message if you wanted me to come out I can. Called number she left and company number no answer at both. Just home from almost 3 weeks in pittsburgh hospital with open heart surgery and to deal with these clowns I rate you zero
