I honestly don’t know where to begin. The situation with my father was extremely difficult and we stumbled upon Geras Home Care and I have never been so grateful! Betty Ann and Bill have helped us through every step of the way. There have been many stumble blocks and they never left us stranded. They made sure that my father was taken care of and they were amazing shoulders to lean on throughout the whole process. This is a well earned deserved 5 star by Geras Home Care. I am the primary care giver for my elderly father. Late last year, he was diagnosed with mild to moderate dementia. The care he needed began to quickly exceed my capabilities as I also have a full time job. My family reached out to Geras and they were Aces. I worked with Kathy and Olivia who are simply fantastic. They did a patient assessment and made sure the home was safe (which it naturally would be). They were attentive and compassionate to what I needed and more importantly what my father needed while I was at work. I told them what I needed and what to expect and the care was customized. Nydiera was assigned as my dad's caretaker and she is magnificent. She quickly became not only his caretaker but his daily companion. She not only took care of him but also helped me out with keeping my house tidy as my time was limited. Caring for an elderly parent is one of the most challenging and trying tests that Life will throw at you. Geras not only helped my dad, they helped me. I highly highly recommend them and cannot praise them enough. There was no downside as far as I'm concerned. Well worth it. And well done.
