Wellspan VNA PT Robin Swope discharged my grandmother despite physician’s orders to continue home health PT and OT with new goals. Robin stated my grandmother was “no longer homebound because she could leave the home”. I explained that a homebound status doesn’t mean a person cannot leave the home for medical appointments and that she’s been homebound for 3 years. Robin refused to continue services and provide misinformation concerning my grandmother’s abilities and homebound status. She spoke negatively about my husband and I to my grandmother’s caregiver, stating that we “just didn’t want to take her for outpatient PT/OT” and that my grandmother “can do many things and leave the house”. (This was all captured on my home camera as it has audio recording!) Nevertheless, my grandmother still uses a walker and is a 1 assist with mobility and ADL’s. A new agency accepted her with Medicare APPROVAL! The situation speaks for itself.

Fabulous OT & PT. Kind & very helpful. When therapists report something to their supervisor & they become involved ….interaction becomes condescending & disrespectful. I do not appreciate bulldogs nor will I tolerate. The next time this type of follow up care is needed, I hope we have other options. People skills are lacking. We are not children..

My mother and I have had a wonderful experience with the nurses, OT and PT staff that arrive at her home. They are very attentive and their goals Aline with Moms and our family. I wish we could have them for more than an hour at a time.

These guys are spectacular! I can call anytime and they will send a nurse out to my home. I have a few different nurses and they have all been amazing. If you have any issues, follow exactly what the nurses tell you to do and it will help you. I had wounds for over a year half that I was told they would never be healed. I started with the VNA and they have been healed in 5 weeks.

I would not recommend this place Jessica Miller, of intake is very rude, not professional, and very disrespectful!!!! She would not let me or my mom’s Nurse from her Doctors office explain my mom’s situation. I went to another Home care company with the fear of my mom not getting to right at home attention. Due to the attitude that Jessica Miller of intake is. I hope that she gets the proper train of how to talk to families, who love ones are ill and need care. Especially the time where the family is emotional in try to keep their love one comfortable before their time. Very disappointed with how no one Administration called to explain or apologize for Jessica Miller’s action. I guess it is Condoned with this company!🤬
