Choose another hospital if you can help it. Worse patient care. If the doctor at the emergency room if Herrera, please get in the car and keep driving.

Worst ambulatory service ever experienced. I waited six and a half hours for an x ray authorization. My appointment was at 9 a.m. I could see the doctor at 4 p.m. It's not a good service to have many people waiting so many hours.

Took my dad, 88, to the ER at 1:00 AM for complications from high blood pressure. Staff took his insurance information and vitals and then waited five hours. About five persons in ER waiting. My dad felt better around 6:00 AM, so we left. Never saw the physician on duty and all he needed was a new prescription. Arguably, this hospital needs to be shutdown for the good of the people in Ponce.

Horrible! Incompetent! They forgot we were even a patient in the emergency area for over 5 hours and lost all the charts! Update....going from one star to three If you make it past the emergency room....things get better. Most of the doctors and staff were great and had no problem talking and explaining everything to me. Once admitted there was only one issue with one of the night doctors. Unfortunately the emergency room is one of the main reasons you have to go to the hospital.....this emergency room experience was horrible.....just keep that in mind if you have to come here!
