I would give zero stars if I could. I am under the care of an infectious disease physician, and my PICC line dressing is ordered to be changed every 7 days. Spartanburg Home Health failed to send a nurse on schedule and told me it would be nine days between changes — directly violating CDC and Infusion Nurses Society (INS) standards of care. When I called, I was told that “nurses make their own schedules” and that it depends on their PTO. That is unacceptable. To make matters worse, I have also discovered inaccurate patient notes in my chart, which is deeply concerning. If documentation cannot be trusted, how can patient care be trusted? A PICC line is a direct line to the heart, delaying dressing changes increases the risk of bloodstream infection and sepsis. I was hospitalized for sepsis less than a month ago. To disregard physician orders, falsify or misrepresent patient notes, and endanger patient safety in this way is reckless and negligent. If you value your health, please think twice before trusting Spartanburg Home Health with your care.

I called Spartanburg Regional Home Healthcare services immediately after my discharge from the SRMC and set up appt time. No one called the first day but some was to slated to come out the send day which was a Friday. Appt time between 4p.m. and 5p.m.- as it got close to 5, we called their main number and asked for a status update on my home healthcare nurse, Julie said she had called, texted and email our nurse Lenore, but had received no communication back from her. So it's 5:37 p.m. on a Friday (March 27th, 2020) afternoon, we have to no idea if we are going to see a nurse today and we have no idea of any plans for my healthcare follow up for the weekend! Given other reviews and community reputation, and the fact that a vulnerable population depends on these people. I feel they should be closed down since they are endangering more people than they help.

Horrible do not have any of your family members use them when you’re at the hospital make sure you ask for a list of multiple home healthcare providers they’re going to tell you this company but because they’re making a cut with the hospital at the hospital won’t tell you there is other options there are over 10 to 15 patients from these people that moved over to MSA and I am one of them .. they were not prepared to properly change my wounds they did not have enough supplies like they said they were going to ... they say they’ll be there at six but show up at 7:30 at night ... The list goes on so trust me if you want to quality company do the research and asked for the list before you go with these people

Absolute horrible service. Would not recommend to anyone. My 88 year old grandmother had an issue one night and tried to call the 24hr number. No one ever answered and did not call her back. In fact, the next morning she tried calling the number again, only getting the answering service. This was at 9am and even the answering service tried calling the office to no avail. Her nurse only came by once for her initial visit and never heard from her again. If anything, this nothing but an insurance scam. Wish I could give less than one star.
