I recently had an experience with Amedisys Hospice out of Elizabethton, Tennessee. I hired them to provide services for my 93-year-old mother who has dementia. I’ve worked as a caregiver in several situations in a hospice environment. I’ve also been with several friends during the same period of time. I was unpleasantly flabbergasted by this company. Communication was terrible, follow up was terrible and erratic at best. I had to discontinue their services after about three months. I do not recommend this division of Amedisys.

My father was is hospice with this company. At first they were great. But the night before my father died and the morning of his death NO ONE from here called us to let us know. And 1 and half years later no one reached out to us. So my father died ALONE! Please do your research because this place let our family down in the worst way ever. And also let my father die alone . No one deserves that kind of treatment !!
