The nurses were OK but calling the office for scheduling or med questions was painful. They seem to be overwhelmed via lack of staffing.

I share the other reviewers experience. Nurse #1 gets to my home 1.5hr late, after the 1-3 pm time slot and seems only interested in getting my signature to be paid, draws blood. Then after she left, i saw the blood samples on my table. She calls the next day and says she can call about 5pm no call. Nurse #2 calls my husband's phone, i made sure Nurse #1 put my phone as primary in her computer and on the My Chart app. He tells her, my wife is not a pin cushion and that I deserve a courtesy call if not going to show up, that I am sick and needs to rest. Nurse #2 calls me , asks ,' has anyone taken your urine?' Nope. She comes pretty much on time. She smelled of cigarette smoke, I have asthma and scars on my lungs from covid, but she did not reek, so I just bared the smell. She was changing my midline dressing. She asked if I had sodium chloride. I said, ' yes, its in the fridge ". Now I will give her the benefit of the doubt, that she may not have heard me. I bring it in. She proceeds to hook it up and did a one push, whole amount of COLD SODIUM CHLORIDE. I immediately said ," Dern girl, that hurt." Nurse #2 , " oh was that cold? It doesn't have to be in refrigerator." I told her when I received all my supplies in the box it has Refrigerate on it. Later, I look up how the procedure is suppose to be done.. room temp and flush slowly..nursing 101. She failed. I told her the 1st visit should not be charged since nothing was executed but getting my signature. She went on to say she had a conversation with her supervisor ' that we might be difficult '. Did she get a urine sample? Nope. I asked her where I could go if blood was needed in future, I did not need to depend on them. She was Curt and responded," we will not need anymore blood, I will be out and take your midline out next week". I thought nope. So, I told my Dr's office the care I was getting, the attitude, the no show, the unprofessionalism. He said to come in and he would take care of the midline. So each visit cost $300.. do you think I got even a $50 value from nurse #1, nurse #2 did drawl blood but I have yet to see the results its been 2 weeks and nothing on the Ballad or labcorp app. No urine sample ( I had enterococcus faecalis in a UTI) serms a bit important. I endured smoke on her person, and I am asthmatic/ scars on lungs/ 2x primary cancer survivor in 3 years this past March. There is a TN law says no smoking on medical property..how does that equate to coming into a patient's home?

If I could give a negative star I would. This establishment is completely unorganized. They show up without setting a specific meeting time, then notate in the file that you never responded to their visit. After three times of them “trying” to contact you they close out the file, leaving you to do all the legwork of trying to get another physician’s referral. When you do schedule a time to meet they no call no show. I couldn’t ever reach the tech I was speaking with directly without having to go through the receptionist, who always told me something completely different than the people coming out to the house. I could barely understand a word she said because she mumbled and spoke so low. Altogether frustrating when trying to get in-home care for a loved one. Do yourself a favor and seek other options if you’re able. If it’s this hard to get them in the home I can’t imagine the job they must do once inside.
