I want to thank the ER personnel The lady out front that took our information (with all the cute animals at her station) The triage nurse (wonderful young lady) That took my husband into the room and prepared him for the Doctor And, especially Doctor Riesinger; could t have asked for better treatment. Thank you all Charles and Janet Borchert

My father was brought to the ER with lung cancer, emphysema, and a fractured spine. He is oxygen dependent. His oxygen machine died while we were waiting, and we were told they “don’t provide oxygen” in the waiting room. He struggled to breathe for hours. When they finally took him to the back, put him in what looks like storage closet, where there was zero medical equipment, and they still refused to give him oxygen. Eventually he was moved to a regular room but again NO OXYGEN. A staff member even had the audacity to say “he “didn’t have a health condition” to admit him and asked him what he “wanted them to do to him.” This was unsafe, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable for any patient, let alone someone with serious medical conditions. I’ve filed formal complaints with the Department of Health and the Joint Commission.

Go to Camden instead of Paris. This was the least sympathetic group of providers I have ever experienced. We were there 9 hours to get 0 answers and very little help. Save yourself by going elsewhere. Camden got us in and out in 2 hours with actual help and care.

Took my daughter here for severe abdominal pain and fever and throwing up and the only nice people we encounter was the front staff checking us in. The doctor was really rude to us and the people that took her blood looked like they have never took blood before and dug around in her arm and argued with me when I told them to stop. My daughter is 6 and autistic. The doctor seemed more concerned as to why we didnt see her PCP about her symptoms. When it was Saturday evening. Very unprofessional all the way around, also didnt get sent home with my daughters labs just her symptoms sheet. They need to have doctor's and staff that know how to address children because my 6 year old was treated like she was a dang adult. Henry county we can do better. Let's do better. I will NEVER EVER be back to this facility.

Was admitted after 2 days of agonizing pain after being sent home by Camden hospital..it took a while once we arrived. I'm sure running all the test, waiting for results...then eventually talking to urology. The super kind NP came in to tell me I was going to be admitted and have emergency surgery the following morning/afternoon. Even though I was in the worst pain of my life... miserable...and SO UNCOMFORTABLE, the doctor... and the nurse made sure I was good to go. I WILL SAY.... I had a handful of nurses, names and all, I could list but won't, that are not worth a single penny to have there. One left my IV with antibiotics going, the machine started beeping, she cracked the door told me to silence the machine, only to find out at shift change and hour later that the medicine hadn't been going in as it should have and the polite amazing nurse that replaced the other fixed it and got my meds flowing. The same terrible nurse wouldn't even check my strainer to see if id passed my kidney stones, she looks at me and says " well what did you want me to look at? Oh this? Are you kidding me? That's obviously not a stone. I have alot of other important things to do...." and she stormed I out... I was super embarrassed.... The kitchen staff...... AMAZING, POLITE, ALWAYS TALKED TO ME, BROUGHT MY EXTRAS WITH NO COMPLAINTS!!!!! The cleaning staff, amazing!!!! So incredibly nice! Over all aside from the few bad apple nurses I had, the hospitality, DR. MOBLEY ♡ OF COURSE for literally saving my life so I could come back home to my boys, and Pharmacist for watching my blood culture, the lovely humans taking breakfast/lunch/supper orders and bringing it to me with a smile, for it to be such a terrible, out of the blue, horrific, painful, traumatizing event. Majority of the staff at Henry County Medical Center made me feel like my care was tip priority!!!!
