My sister received services through VHC. She received great care for the short period of time she had home health. The staff was very friendly and provided great quality of care. Their aides and nurses were very helpful and timely while she received care. They have excellent medical knowledge. I would recommend VHC to anyone needing services.

The good: home health aide was friendly, provided gentle hands on care. Physical therapy was wonderful. The bad: home health aide occasionally doesn't show up and messages later in the day with her reasons. The scheduler very rarely bothers to inform patients to changes in their scheduled aide visits. Nurses discharged me despite my continuing needs and goals not being met. Nurses failed to comply with doctor requests for labs which delayed access to treatment for me, causing unnecessary pain and suffering. Notifying supervisor did not lead to changes or improvements in the quality of care. They really don't care about patients and it's obvious. Take your loved one elsewhere.

My physical therapist ,Anita, gets 5 stars. We set up a scheduled day and time the first day she was here. Regardless she always text me that she was on her way. She was professional, upbeat and uplifting every visit. We always did what I was capable of and if that was laying in bed that’s where we did my exercises that day. I am truly grateful for her and wish I never would’ve had to be discharged from therapy. As far as nursing, that’s where the problem lies. They never offered to set up a scheduled day or time. I requested a call the night before but it took months before this happened. Finally got a scheduled day around the last month. The problem was they never did anything for me. I called my own doctors with my problems and got my medications adjusted as needed. Today was the day 1/31/25 I asked to be discharged. I was feeling weak, my right eye was drooping. No neuro exam was done. She stated “ I hate to discharge you when you’re feeling like this”. I asked her what she was going to do about it and not a word was said. Think long and hard if you need this company for nursing. As I mentioned therapy is top notch!!! They also had no home health aides which was a service I really could have benefited from. After I was discharged from therapy I should have been completely discharged which borders on Medicare fraud when you have to call your own doctors and get your own medications adjusted..

Definitely not qualified to have a business. They say they can meet your needs and then they can't get u nurses or they call out all the time! They have let my family suffer because they can't do there job! Look elsewhere please!
