My mom and dad have been using caregiving services from Care Mountain for about a year now. Mom has Vascular Dementia and dad needs daily activities support. He has post stroke functional limiations. A friend recommended Care Mountain and my parents couldn't be happier. It took us a couple of iterations to get the schedule right. Care Mountain worked with us in balancing costs and care needs. My sister and I spend weekend days with mom and dad so we do longer night shifts but no day shifts. And we have day and night shifts on weekdays. Care Mountain caregivers are experienced and know how to manage couples care. The office also helps with the insurance paperwork. We have been getting our reimbursements regularly. Care Mountain is a trustworthy company with top quality staff. And they truly want to help their patients, which is wonderful to experience. I will recommend them to anyone looking for care for their family.

We have had overnight shifts from Care Mountain for my Dad. Its been almost 18 months now. We take care of dad during the day and need overnight support since he requires active care in the night with his Oxygen concentrator. He also has hallucinations from his progressing lewy body dementia. Care Mountain has been reliable and they provide high quality care. In all the time Care Mountain has been with us, they have not missed any shift. They always have a replacement if a caregiver cannot come. They coordinate care very well. The three ladies who tag team across the week back each other up. The ladies are kind, compassionate and experienced. The office staff works collaboratively with us on dad's care plan. Overall, we have found Care Mountain to be a solid and trustworthy company, and would recommend them to anyone looking for private home care for their loved one.

Care Mountain is a blessing for our family. My mother has both Parkinson’s and early stage dementia, and we needed someone we could trust. We looked at several agencies in the Allen, TX area, and Care Mountain stood out for their experience and warmth. Gagan spent a lot of time with us to explain how the caregiving would work. Our caregiver has been patient, respectful, and very skilled at managing Mom’s tremors and mood changes. Amy, their caregiver understands the complexities of Mom's care especially how to time meals around her Sinemet doses and manage her tremors safely. She makes low protein meals and gives them at the right times to help the medication work better. I didn't even know that was needed, I only read up about it after she told me about it. Andrea from the office is very responsive and on top of things, and Gagan is knowledgeable and helpful in planning care. I truly believe my mom is able to stay at home because of the care and support she receives from Care Mountain. We had hired Care Mountain based on the recommendation of my Dad's Orthopedic surgeon's office. Dad had kyphoplasty surgery and Care Mountain supported the post recovery journey at home for a few weeks. Their team of Nurses, Physical thrapists and caregivers were well coordinated with each other, and they directly worked with the Doctors office. We had some initial hiccups with one of the physical therapists who was not a good fit for Dad, Care Mountain immediately worked with us and found a new PT. The management listens well to customer feedback and makes efforts to ensure a good fit between their staff and a client's needs. Overall, our experience with the company's services was very positive. We are definitely recommending Care Mountain for high quality in home care.

My parents live in Allen. Dad has Parkinson’s and my mother has dementia. I have had Care Mountain's team providing live in caregiver services for my parents. Before working with care mountain I did not even know live in care was possible. In the last 2 years of live-in care, they have not missed more than3-4 shifts! The office team know a lot of stuff on handling home care and they are good resources for all of us. my parent’s day to day care is complex in terms of planning for medications, meals, doctor appointments, showers, laundry, housekeeping, companionship etc. We have found their office team and caregivers to be incredibly patient, meticulous and focused. My parents have someone around all the time and they are eating home made food now which is so much better than defrosting frozen dinners. I would definitely recommend Care mountain to anyone looking for reliable live in home care services for their family member.
