The nurses & caregivers that came to my home are friendly, compassionate & professional. The office & owners I cannot say the same. A nurse that had been visiting me for a year & a half or more suddenly stopped & a new nurse started visiting. No explanation, no notice, nothing. Sad the owners don't realize the clients get used to an individual & would like a heads up or notice or some explanation. Now, today I have been discharged by the RN who comes every 6 weeks for recertification. To my total surprise this was no recertification, but termination of service because MEDICARE says I do not need home health service. Again, no advance notice, no call saying perhaps if my primary care doctor submitted another order for home health services. Once again I'm not afforded an opportunity to say goodbye to a nurse who had been seeing me weekly for months! It also puts the RN in an awkward position of having to be the bearer of this news. No way to run a business, in my humble opinion. Again, the nurses & field personnel are top notch, the office/ownership, not even close to being professional, caring or empathetic to their clients!
