I wish I could give Guardian Angel Home Health Care Services zero stars because that’s exactly what they deserve. My experience with this company was beyond awful, and I strongly urge anyone in need of home health care to look elsewhere. After undergoing surgery just three days prior, I was in urgent need of wound care. The company sent a nurse named Stephanie Riley, who was not only two hours late but also incredibly unprofessional. When she finally arrived, she spent no more than five minutes in my home, barely spoke a word, and carried herself with an attitude of disgust and disdain—as if helping me was beneath her. She refused to assist me in any way, rudely declined to provide wound care, and simply told me to call the company if I wanted a different nurse. Excuse me?! That is literally her job! I immediately reported this to management, and to my complete lack of surprise, they admitted she had violated protocol and needed to be spoken to. But what good does that do me? I was left stranded and untreated when I needed help the most. I have had multiple surgeries in the past and have dealt with numerous home health nurses, but never have I encountered such cold, heartless, and unprofessional behavior. This company clearly lacks competence, professionalism, and basic human decency. If you or a loved one needs home health care, do NOT trust Guardian Angel Home Health Care Services unless you want to be treated with disrespect and neglect. Avoid this company at all costs.

Guardian Angel has provided my father with excellent care. They are in constant communication with the VA when issues arise. Ms. Lilly, the nursing director, has been my father’s guardian angel!! Any problem my dad has, she somehow finds a solution for it and I can’t thank her enough.

I was forced to get care from Guardian Angel three times once each time for my hip surgeries and for my knee replacement surgery. The nurse is outstanding and the therapist was outstanding but the Nursing Director felt I no longer needed therapy after 7 visits and discharged me from therapy and reported to the VA I no longer needed therapy because I had to go out of town for a family death for two weeks. She also billed the VA for 9 therapy sessions. She then never had me reevaluated by the head therapist to extend or discharge my therapy. The director then had another employee call me and take responsibility for discharging me from therapy on my voicemail. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a Nursing Director.

Guardian Angel home healthcare took care of my grandfather for his medical needs. The nurse they sent treated him with great respect and compassion.Whenever my family had questions we were able to get a quick response from their main office also when the information was not available they were able to contact my grandfathers doctors directly and get a faster response for us. The therapist they sent was very skilled and got him to walk at a better pace and with less pain. This agency provided excellent care for him overall.

Four Stars!!! Both my grandparents were taken care of by Guardian Angel Home Health and we loved the way they were take care of. Their nurses, home health aids and the owner were wonderful and caring. We LOVE Guardian Angel and we would recommend it to everyone!
