Pro: There are some people within the company that will really step out to assist you. Ms. Bosie, and Ms. Jocelyn show care and concern for my father on a consistent basis. I appreciate their check ins and personal touch. My father’s has a few providers and I’d have to say Misty is the best provider. I don’t have to constantly train her on my father’s needs. She’s is very efficient and compassionate. We have had a few emergency situations and she has responded quickly and appropriately. If I could give her a raise I would. Misty is a blessing. Cons: They are not able to secure providers consistently. There have been times were one of our regular providers would need to take off (They’d let the company know in advance) and there would not be coverage. It’s very inconsiderate because my father has to have coverage at all times. I wouldn’t get a call or anything. No one would show. This did not happen all the time but it happened enough. There is also a disconnect with the younger staff. I would explain the severity of the situation and the need for coverage so I can stay employed and younger staff members would say “ok I understand”, but then no sense of urgency would transpire. There should be some type of sensitivity training for staff members. Lastly, it would seem as though the “left hand does not know what the right hand was doing”. Communication would get lost, mixed up, etc. I finally started doing group text messages and then following up with phone calls to make sure everything was clear. If your love one only needs a little bit of assistance a couple hours a week then I would recommend this company as a possibility. If your loved one needs a lot of assistance for many hours, I would not recommend this company. Their performance thus far shows they aren’t equipped at this time to accommodate a client like my father. Again I honestly appreciate more than words the assistance of Ms. Bosie, Jocelyn, and Misty.
