Kind and so gentle hubby of 54 yrs passed away at our home sweet home due to Prostate Cancer last Monday, 8/11 and Hospice Team Nurse Shanti and SW Irma immediately came to my rescue. And assisted me compassionately and lovingly thru the process. Thanks so much for the Teams beautiful purple orchids and heartfelt Sympathy card given to me and my Family during this time of our deepest loss.😢😢😢 And Me and my Family felt so much love ❤️ with Ms Irma’s presence during the Viewing at Jeter Funeral Homes and at the Celebration of Life of our late beloved dear one at our Eckankar Church. Once again thank you Nurse Shanti and SW Irma for all your assistance and care.

My Mother Dorothy was treated with respect and dignity by everyone that cared for her. The entire staff of Village Hospice was always there to offer assistance with any need Mom may have. Ben was so comforting for Mom and she was so peaceful after his prayers with and for her. Marlaina was the highlight of her day. Her nurses Kim and Flora are for sure angles sent by God . Don’t know where to start. The nurse assigned to us wouldn’t show up half the time so we would spend all day waiting on her. The times she did show up she was always talking on her phone, we never had her full attention. It gets worse. Our loved one started having what I know now as end of life symptom's. We shared all these symptoms to the nurse and she said “we will keep an eye on it.” As a nurse she should’ve known immediately end of life was near as they are hallmark signs to last few days. We ended up calling 911 which is where we learned our loved one was in fact in their end hours of life. Blessing in disguise because we went with magnolia hospice care who provided a peaceful transition. Village home health never called to check in . For all the know our loved one is still alive. Sad
