This family owned and operated Home Health and Hospice is absolutely one with the best heart. Staff is top notch, and their jobs mean more to them than just showing up. They show up and show out. Best care choice for in home health care for your family.

The Parkinson’s Plus class, and instructor Caren Anthony, are life changing. I have never been much for exercise, or classes, or social groups. But this class has not only been physically beneficial, it has been fun. I never miss it. I have Parkinson’s and significant balance and mobility issues. Both my family and I see real progress every week. The socialization with other seniors has been really good for me, and I am very fortunate to have Caren as the instructor. She challenges me and as a result I have achieved more than I could have imagined. My confidence is high, my attitude is good, and I thank Caren for that. If you have enough interest to be reading this review… you should be in this class.

There are not enough superlative compliments to adequately describe this program and its instructor, Caren Anthony. I attended initially only to support my brother, who has Parkinson’s, but I have continued to participate myself because it is a great program for any senior. For anyone with physical challenges, you can expect noticeable improvement in movement, cognition, balance, strength and confidence. But whether or not you have specific challenges to work on, it is great exercise, and a positive, uplifting, welcoming and supportive group of people. The class includes a range of ages, personalities and physical conditions, but everyone fits together so well it feels like family. And it is Caren who makes it all happen. She combines impressive professional knowledge with wonderful people skills to make the “work” both purposeful and fun. She has a great feel for exactly how much to challenge you in order to bring out your best. And most importantly, she clearly loves what she does and sincerely cares about every person in her class. Five Stars are not enough!

I recently had to utilize Cedar Lake Home Health and Hospice for care after an extensive surgery. I found the nurses, therapists, and caregivers to be very professional and gave me the one-on-one care that is very difficult to find these days. I never felt that they were just "doing their job". They genuinely care about their patients. Part of my aftercare program involved attending a program call Parkinson's Plus of East Texas. I enrolled expecting to find a bunch of people sitting in chairs flapping their arms. To my surprise, I couldn't have been more wrong. These classes are incredible. The instructor works her patients butts off and they love her for it. The time I was in the classes did more for my recovery than I could have ever imagined. If you ever need Home Healthcare I strongly encourage you to check these folks out. They are FANTASTIC!
