I cannot speak highly enough about the exceptional care provided by St Joseph’s Home Health. From the very first consultation, their team showed genuine compassion, professionalism, and dedication to meeting my family’s needs. The nurses and aides were not only highly skilled and knowledgeable, but they also provide dignity and respect, making a real difference in the comfort and quality of life. Communication with the office was always smooth—scheduling was flexible, and any concerns or questions were addressed promptly and thoroughly.

St. Joseph's home health has an amazing office staff that are knowledgeable in the services that are provided. The nurses are extremely attentive to their patients and St. Joseph's has nurses who are certified in wound care treatments. The home health aides are certified in caring for the patients and are excellent! #1 agency in West Texas!!!!

This is an amazing place: a full-service, one-stop home health care facility. Providers, caregivers, and nursing staff are passionate about their patients and families. I wish I had this option while my mom was ill and seeking consistent, friendly, and caring home health care services.

April 2025 I wish I had good things to say. I heard good things, but… My first day using St Joseph’s services was a Saturday. The provider, Brenda, showed on time, but did not stay the length of time I was told she’d be here. Then, nobody showed the rest of the weekend; mind you, I have a 7 day-a-week care plan. Monday, one supervisor, Sissy, came with my caregiver to see how she helped me. I told her if lifting was not an option for a provider, I have a Hoyer lift. Sissy came back on Wednesday night with a night provider; I have split shifts daily. They both wanted to observe my (same) morning caregiver, who I’ve had for months with another agency. I must say, Sissy did not come wearing work appropriate attire. Nor did she seem to pay attention to me-the client-when I spoke. Thursday, I was very confused when the company called me, saying they were dropping me as a client. They felt they couldn’t provide service, which I thought odd, since my ladies had been coming to help me. Additionally, they said their providers were not qualified to use the Hoyer lift, and somebody should have told me that on day one. Thirdly, and most upsetting, Sissy called Adult Protective Services on me with some elaborate and completely false report. The social worker met me on Friday, and though she was pleasantly surprised that nothing on the report was true, she cannot immediately close the case. So, among looking for a new agency, I also have that gigantic and unnecessary headache. Then, she told my morning helper she hoped I was not offended. Why wouldn’t I be offended that somebody lied and blew things way out of proportion, leaving me to deal with the aftermath? This has been a horrible two weeks, and the effects will be long-lasting. On top of that, this-my last week with them-I’ve made several attempts to contact Sissy, along with 2 other staff members about various topics, but nobody ever returned my calls. I have not had a night helper all week, and I doubt anyone will come all weekend, which leaves me relying on friends. St Joseph’s has some nerve using the name of a holy man to promote their business, and Sissy should be fired.
