My mom stayed there for 2 weeks back in Summer of 2023 and Sandra and the black lady at the business office Debra … just wanted my mom for her Medicare benefits /commission ..to then discharge her... they were not transparent at all about what they were planning they just wanted $$$$$$$ # SHAME. .. FYI there is NO GARDENS at all or at chelsea the residents are just stuck inside all day.. my mother passed away shortly after this situation.

I toured this community with Mimi, Marketing Director and met the administrator. The community is very inviting and very clean and all of the staff was very friendly. In the near future hopefully we will be supporting their community with hospice services. I highly recommend this community for any family looking for skilled nursing care! My husband was a patient at Chelsea Gardens. I like the facility and professional nurse staff and medication techs. My husband was doing well until he had an infection on his mid chest IV line twice. The Chelsea Garden Administration staff has been invisible. I did have phone communication with Sandra. She was very nice and helpful. Like other skilled nursing facilities, the nurse aides are working understaffed. As a result, there is a noticeable turnover and sometimes slow response to the call button. For the most part they are doing their work well.I’ve been a Professional Healthcare in diagnostic testing for 40+ years. My husband has been bedridden for 2+ years. I’ve monitored his care the entire time. I do appreciate Chelsea Garden, and the care they gave my husband. I could name some staff, but fear I have forgotten some of their names I won’t. Thank you.

I’m a volunteer who visit Chelsea once a week to share the Bible with those who may be interested. The staff is amazing. Ms. Spikes shows so much care and concern for the patients. Her love for them and for what she does in caring for them is easily recognized. Donna is another hard worker at the facility. She is very personable and friendly. She is very familiar with all of the patients. Ms. Thelma is consistently on the job. She welcomes us and those who come in with a warm smile. As a matter of fact the whole staff is constantly working hard for the patients. This includes the nurses, the physical therapy staff, the cleaning staff and all who care the patients. I look forward to visiting the facility weekly.

Good location. The monument sign is small and easy to miss. Front entrance doesn’t face the street. The people are nice. A few worth mentioning who went above & beyond their call of duty: Sumera, Juno, Margaret, Kia, Patricia, …. The CNAs have a very demanding job. The facility has good design but needs better upkeep & maintenance.
