I’ve had the pleasure of working with Cindi-PT- for over a year. Her expertise combines with her compassion resulting in outstanding care. She meets me where I’m at and is always encouraging no matter my physical limitations visit per visit. Scheduling is a dream, handled by texts the day before our prearranged days. Even arranged for an awesome fill-in PT, Sean, while she was on vacation. Her reports on my progress are integral to continuance participation. This is HUGE, as it allows my PCP to seamlessly request mow visits with no interruption in services. My thanks to Kim Long (manager) and office staff for facilitating it all.

Very poor scheduling system, caregivers said they were able to schedule after 5:00pm to see client the following day. When asked for advanced notice we were told that they could only schedule after 5:00 pm because they got other cases all day and must adjust for that. After being told that I might have another appointment she suggested I leave the door open and she could see my son. I explained that he was paralyzed and couldn’t be left alone she said why not. I didn’t bother to explain the law on the care of the disabled. I can’t recommend this company.

I had to cancel my mom's services for PT, OT, and nursing. 1st time, OT couldn't fit her into his schedule. Nursing & PT were ok. After 2nd hospital stay, they weren't showing up at all. When the nurse finally showed up she only stayed 10 mins. PT & OT never showed up. DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I had a bad experience with a nurse on 4/17/2024. I am receiving wound care treatment for an ulcer on my stump (amputated leg) and my good leg. I was in my wheelchair and rolled to the door to greet the nurse when she arrived. Then, I wheeled to the back of the house where my treatment occurs. This effort raises my blood pressure. I have been advised by my doctors to have everyone wait 5 minutes before measuring my BP to get a good measurement. The nurse tried to measure my BP immediately after I stopped wheeling, so I asked her to wait. She refused and insisted on measuring my BP immediately, so I asked again for her to wait and she said that she didn't want to argue with me. I calmly stated that I am paying for this service and she should leave if she would not respect my request. She then left. Her aggressive tone and inappropriate behavior was unprofessional and unacceptable. On 4/19/2024 I have been informed that I have been discharged. To avoid liability for patient abandonment, Advanced Home Health Services is slandering my reputation saying that I (one legged senior citizen in a wheelchair) made them feel unsafe. My wife is always there for my visits and did not see my request to wait as inappropriate. I felt unsafe having someone trying to force their will on me. A nurse with Advanced said that my request was reasonable and should not have caused this situation. Now Advanced is trying to find an alternative health care provider to avoid the charge of patient abandonment. I have filed a complaint with the state attorney general. More coming......

Sometimes, when entitlement goes unchecked for a long time, when it does get checked, it looks like disrespect. Most of the field staff that I experienced with this company were pretty rude. Every person just texts or calls you that they're coming or just shows up. Every single person, I told the same thing, please ask me, instead of telling me. I mean, really, it's, how would you feel, if someone told you, they're coming to house? As if what you have going on doesn't matter and you're not important. There's a lot of work involved with being here or working times, which is no problem at all. My mother is bed bound, which means she can not open the door. I had a therapist, Justen, schedule an appointment and never show up after getting her dressed and in her chair. I called and let them know, and no one ever called to say anything at all. I had a nurse call about 830p, and I was already in bed. She left a message saying she'll be by in the morning and just showed up without confirming. When she showed up in the morning at 8, I asked her if she scheduled the visit, and she said no, so I told her, she will have to schedule and closed the door . Again, no one called to see what was going on. The finally straw was Jordan. I was letting her in and trying to close the door. I always ask people how they're doing, just speak because you're coming in my home. She was in a huge rush and was frazzled coming in the door. I said, "You seem stressed." She said, "I have a job to do. Yeah, I am stressed, so I asked her to leave." No one who cares about their family is going to allow someone already frazzled to work with them. What if my mom doesn't do something right or moves to slow like apparently I was when opening the door? I don't know how you're going to treat her when you're upset. The thing is, it's easy to blame the family and say they're not cooperating than to take accountability. This place lacks care and compassion. I called to share my complaints and she said you have a problem with another one of the staff? She was very, very rude and I found it interesting that if she heard there were problems, why she or anyone else didn't call to see? No one did. Moving forward, the nurse who did the admission had a heart of gold. She took her time. She listened with care and compassion. Morgan was super amazing. After I mentioned the whole can you ask me about scheduling, we were good to go. The other one was, I think, Lee. Same thing. Both of them would say a time and ask, does this work for you? Sometimes, it's the simple things. I have access to let people in my home without being there, which I did for Morgan, but it was because I trusted her. Lee and Morgan never made me or my mom feel rushed. They always showed up with a smile on their face, ready to do their magic. It's about character. That's all it boils down to. The care was just shining off of them. I can say one thing, they did move swiftly to discharge her. Way quicker than addressing any issues. The person who suffers the most is the pt. I feel like they didn't care at all, and the actions showed it. Unfortunately, I wouldn't use them. If you're the type of person that believes in giving people the bare minimum of just respect , this is not the company. There were more negative and bad people than were good.
