Do not use this company unless you are totally bedridden. Veritas was to start my PT after a total knee replacment. Two days after I came home from the hospital, a caseworker was assigned and came out to the house. She was very nice, but older and not in good physical condition. Her PT was a joke. I was able to do more on my own using the sheet of exercises the hospital gave me at discharge. She told me I would hear from the company and a therapist would be out 3 X a week until I was discharged to a PT facility. After 5 days, I still hadn't seen nor heard from anyone. I called Veritas and they said someone would contact me later to get on the schedule. Five days with no PT! I asked for an immediate discharge from their services and they said the caseworker would need to come back out and discharge me. No way. I was able to speak with a director of nursing and after 2 days received a discharge.

I am the caregiver for my mother, who has dementia and many other health issues. After a recent fall, my mom is back home. When asked about home health care, I insisted we go with Veritas. We used them several years ago and had a great experience then. Last year we went with a different company and the difference was astonishing- it was actually more of a hindrance than a help. We’ve only had Veritas for a couple weeks now, but they are a great company. They obviously truly care. They take their time and have the knowledge and patience that people truly need. Amy is the nurse for mom, and Juan is her physical therapist; both of which are kind and top-notch. I can’t say enough great things about this company! I even received a follow up call from Cecile, the intake customer support- checking to see how things were going. At times when you are doing your best to care for loved ones, and have questions or uncertainties, it’s a blessing to have such a wonderful resource to turn to. I highly recommend!
