I've had no problems with this company and their sister company total patient care until this March, June and July, 2025. In March, the lvn was a no call, no show. The RN was basically non responsive by text or phone. This June/July, the lvn said my dad's wound was healing. The RN disagreed. Said he'd send a wound care doctor. We never heard from any wound doctor. We didn't hear nor saw the RN again until Aug 1st, when my dad was discharged from the hospital. Earlier, the lvn had me dial 911 due 2 the oxygen being under 90. I informed the RN that no wound care doctor ever called or showed. I don't recall his reply. The RN removed my dad's bandage. There was a huge setback on the recovery of the wound. The RN didn't think i needed 2 call 911. Said he'd seen worse in a home. Said my dad's vitals were stable. He probably wouldn't b admitted. I called later on. The RN did encourage me by text 2 dial 911 if i deemed it necessary. When the emts arrived, my dad's bp was elevated. He stayed in the hospital nearly 2 weeks and his wound was operated on twice. Poor advice from this RN, initially. Also, the case manager was supposed 2 find my dad a pcp that would make house calls. That never happened. When i called, she was on vacation. The woman that informed me of the vacation was supposed 2 call me back. She didn't. The social worker, after insisting my dad needs 2 b in a facility was also supposed 2 find a pcp 4 a referral. Didn't happen. The case manager called, recently. Idk y. Also, i was finally told by 3 different ppl that i could get no bathing aid cuz i was my dad's paid caregiver. Right after i decided i could no longer care 4 him alone, a washer aid called me twice, once 2 clean him, once supposedly by mistake. I think this is the same aid that came out last year a few times. She called him "lazy papa" , then never returned. The second lvn, Brittany showed me how 2 work a hoyer lift and other little tricks. She was the only bright spot in my dealings with 1 point this year. I don't want my dad back. If he returns, i don't want 1 point back. The final straw is the games they were playing about a washer aid. I cannot care 4 my dad safely at home anymore, by myself, nor am i ready 2 deal with a funeral. Addendum: 1/8 u c that 1 point don't respond on here 2 these poor reviews. Instead, in my case, they had a surveyor call and ask me questions last year after this review was posted. I won't b dealing with this company or their sister companies ever again. Just childish adult games played!

Terrible company Especially A&S health whom they represent. They will be first to respond when you looking for a home health care service but when they start it won't go as well. They are not respectful of your time, they are careless when it comes to using supplies. They dont answer calls or respond to messages. I cant wait to be done with using their services

I'm guessing zero stars is not an option. My mother had this home health arranged after a recent hospitalization and it has been nothing but a JOKE. You can rarely get someone on the phone to actually speak with and then my mom received a text at almost 11 pm Monday night about the nurse coming out yesterday. Well she has a doctor's appointment so that won't work. I finally received a call back yesterday afternoon and Leslie advised she would have a nurse call my mother at 3 pm. Guess what, that didn't happen. I hope they don't get a dime from Medicare because that would be too much to be honest.

I arranged home health services for my father through Baylor Hospital Lake Pointe in Rowlett, but I cannot endorse this service due to significant communication issues. The staff did not actively listen or confirm their understanding of my needs. We were under the impression that a nurse would assist us in completing the necessary paperwork and that services would begin promptly. However, when the caregiver arrived at 8 AM on Monday without prior notice, it posed challenges since I have a mother with dementia who requires preparation for unexpected visitors. Despite prior assessments having been conducted by at least two individuals regarding my father's care needs, I received a call indicating a necessity for home health services, stating that my father didn't assistance in basic activities like bathing. I clarified that what we actually need is a nurse and access to physical therapy and other rehabilitative services to facilitate his recovery and mobility. How hard was that to understand?

They started off pretty good showing up on time. They told me on the first visit they would order supplies and have them shipped to me. Three months later the nurses are showing up sometimes if they do show up at all. My supplies finally show up after multiple calls. I would never use the company again!!
