Please check them out carefully. They are so disorganized and not very patient friendly. I did not know that they would send a male nurse to bath me ( I declined ) and nurses and therapy just called when they wanted to come- no plan or telling the patient what or who to expect. After I cancelled the still kept calling me and scared the hell out of me. I really did not need this during my time of illness.

Hands down the absolute worst Hospice company. My father was discharged home from the hospital on Friday and passed on Sunday. Nothing could have changed that but my family got ZERO support and my father only got care from us. Not knowing what medication to administer to him or anything. My father was crying out in pain and we called all the numbers left in the folder and got no answer. I started calling back to back and finally got an answer from a nurse named Lucy who literally laughed at me. She said she was going to call my mother immediately and did not. She was supposed to make a home visit and did not. When my father passed we were told they do their best to get a nurse out that day....like that was even an option. When the nurse finally arrived 3 hours later she asked what was going on with my father.....like well he died!! Then they couldn't come pick up the equipment because it was never entered that it was even delivered. They never entered his DNR but luckily we knew the ems staff that arrived otherwise they would have to do cpr. This company has no compassion for what they do. Worst company ever.

What a joke these people are!! Avoid them at all costs . Your health is NOT important to them. Only one nurse I met thru this company was even competent that was last Sunday. The first nurse on a Friday which I was to have very important labs drawn and a dressing over my central line cancelled due to her needing to pick up her kids(not my problem) but i tried to be understanding. Labs had to wait until Monday. So they weren't ready for my for dr visit. The second Friday for labs and central line dressing change i get a text at Friday at 3pm need to take my kids to Dr see you tomorrow. Ugh no can't because labs not open on Saturday so here again can't see me til Monday. (I ended up in hospital Sunday night). Resuming services after 2 weeks inpatient the nurse came Sunday she was amazing and very competent. I was told someone else would be here this Friday. NO ONE called all week until 10:41 am her name was melanie and she said i will be there between 12 and 12:30 to which i responded you need to come before 12 or after 3 as i have an iron infusion . These labs are VERY important as I am having liver issues from the IV meds and the dressing change over the central line is important too. I was told oh no can't work i will see you Monday and handle it with your Dr. .. uh no my Dr is already tired of your incompetence and has decided this is unacceptable as well so we will be changing companies. I tried to help them out by contacting the branch manager. Explaining the issues and still nothing resolved!!!!! My Drs nurse is already on phone with health quest looking for a new home health company.

I am very dissatisfied with the customer service received from Encompass Home Health, Richmond, TX. This is why I give their agency zero stars. A very reputable and premier health science center located in the medical center referred my father to Encompass Home Health Care service. We've received the worst service. Their employees would come to our home without scheduling a visit or they would schedule a visit and not show up to the appointment. Therefore, we were uninformed about the schedule changes. I complained to the branch manager, Renee, located in the Richmond, TX area and the Regional Manager, Melanie Ragsdale, located in the Kingwood, TX area, who did nothing to resolve the customer service issue, but made excuses, fabricated stories, and made retaliatory remarks. We have chosen another home health agency for my father's needs. If you are looking for an agency who is unprofessional, in denial, and unwilling (lack enthusiasm) to resolve customer service issues, then this agency is for you. Their poor customer service skill is a very negative feature and a disgrace to this company. I will not use this agency again and will not recommend or endorse them.
