They healed my wound! What more can I say ... always called before visits, always on time, and did their best to bring a sterile environment to my home. Hopefully I never have to deal with another wound, but if I do then I’ll be sure to request Pace Healthcare through my primary care physician.

If I could leave a NEGATIVE star review, I would, but a 1-star is as low as it goes. The doctor at the medical wound care center assigned me to Pace home health care at the end of June. Nobody called or showed up until after the Fourth of July, and I had to initiate contact by calling and asking when they were going to begin. The Nurse finally shows up on the 5th, and freaks out over the wound and my vitals (even though I had explained that I had not taken my medications yet and had recently eaten.) She called my insurance company and worked out a plan that I should be admitted to a nursing care facility, (without my knowledge or permission.) This would necessitate either a 50 mile round trip to my personal doctor- who happens to be on vacation- OR a $500. trip to the emergency room. Still wanting to do the best for my recovery, I went to the ER. After waiting for HOURS, the doctor at the ER didn't agree with HER plan, and said that he didn't think that I needed to be admitted to either the hospital OR a nursing care facility. ($500 down the tubes) I got home after Pace Home Health Care business hours, so I had to call the next day. When I called to reinstate the home health care, I was referred back to the same nurse who had instigated the whole expensive (and physically PAINFUL) situation. She (smugly) tells me that the paperwork will have to be resubmitted. So I am left hanging about whether or not I will be receiving any wound care in the near future.

After years of being a loyal client to them, today I was dumbfounded and completely disappointed especially how because of pride and egotistical issues of an office personnel staff just couldn't bring herself to admit she was first ignorant and second wrong. The staff treatments include dismissal and ignoring attitude to clients. There is no respect and no real attention to the needs of the client. Never in the last 8 years did I ever know about respite hours. After trying to use them, my daughter never got paid since August. We are at the end of October, and nothing. Because I called insurance to exactly learn how they want clock in and clock out done as there is a difference between regular and military times pace staff was hurt. I was suddenly left without anyone to help me. alone to take care of myself. No warning what's so ever. ..I have the rights to care, to respect to choose my provider yet they stripped me of all my rights. Even as my daughter was told late in the day of dismissal she asked what about my father? Sylvia an office staff says.. what about him? Really? Knowingly leaving me alone as I am paralyzed, frequent falling, uncontrolled blood levels you added so much stress to me and my family in a matter of 30 minutes....After 8 years I waited for someone with higher authority to contact me. I just couldn't believe they would do this much less at 4:30 pm. On a Friday. If your looking for an honest opinion because it seems I was violated many rights this afternoon by this company and its staff, they didn't take my freedom of speech. Go past this company. Reality is sinking in hard. Not one single family member is able to come to my rescue until tomorrow. Yet pace didn't care enough to fix this problem. I already reported this to my insurance. I never wish bad as a Christian but there is such a thing as karma
