Atlas and Tiki are the best. Tiki took care of my Step-mom a year ago and then my Dad this year. My parents both adored Tiki and her compassion, and that meant everything to our family. She made hospice so much easier because of her knowledge and caring.

I appreciate Atlas and would highly recommend! ESPECIALLY TIKI,TOM, &DAN? (I can’t quite remember his name) They have been nothing but Amazing and attentive and helpful. They have been taking care of my dad who is 72 and just exceeded any expectations I could have had. I wish I could keep them all !

Tiki Villegas did care for my childhood neighbor Maricela. Maricela has one of the biggest hearts I know and helped raise me as a child. She deserves the best care and the fact that Tiki was able to go above and beyond for her was absolutely amazing. She did so with her range of knowledge, patience, and caring personality. Thank you very much, and thank you Atlas for hiring top tier nurses.

I wouldn't recommend Atlas to take care of even the most loathsome human on the planet. Even they don't deserve to be treated the way my mom has been by this company. My mom met an Atlas nurse during the checkup in which she was informed that she had terminal cancer (two months or less to live) that would result in a very painful death. The nurse was sweet, competent, and she really connected with my mom. Mom signed up with Atlas a few days later, but that nurse was on vacation for a week. No biggie. In the meantime, another nurse visited my mom and got her signed up. Mom is allergic to a specific kind of pain med and requested more of what her primary care doctor had prescribed her since it was doing the trick. The assigned Atlas doctor refused to prescribe the medication she needed and insisted that she take the medication she is allergic to. No matter how many times we talked with the doctor through the nurse, he dug his heels in and wouldn't even consider an alternative. His attitude was that he knew best and if we just did it his way we would see he was right. Not only that, but her medications showed up in ziplock bags with stickers attached. Not very professional at all. My mom tried the medication for 24 hours and had a severe reaction to it, but the doctor still refused to make a change. We reached out to the initial Atlas nurse for help when she came back, and she said the only way she could help us is if we requested a change of nurses. We did so, but Atlas flat-out denied our request. After another round of "we know what's best for your mom" conversations we've had it. Mom only has a couple of weeks left. She's 87, independent and sharp as a tack, raised 12 kids, has a heart of gold, and doesn't need to die in agony because a doctor with a god complex can't get past his own ego to do what's best for her. We reached out to CNS in Logan and they are coming over first thing tomorrow to sign a change of hospice provider form and get her what she needs.
