Enhabit Home Health & Hospice Cared for my mother and I couldn’t be happier that I chose them. Each care taker was exceptionally. My mother was not an easy patient, but that didn’t matter to them. That showed her much love and kindness to the end of her life.

Currently using them and upfront they'll sell the world but deeply inconsistent in their service. When discussing concerns, the lead nurse said if you don't like our service you can leave. I would member reckons this company.

I agree with Paige. Lack of ethics, lying to my face and possible insurance fraud is what I experienced. The man who came to my house is the main case Mgr and I too was trying to get PT. He also tried evaluating me for extra services like living will, social services while asking questions about my mother in our home which has nothing to do with me getting PT. I was very clear about the services I needed and was not listened to as he had his own agenda and it wasn't mine. I told him of my complaint on the phone and he said I was clear but he knowingly did what he wanted and submitted to my insurance incorrect documentation to get approval from the insurance company with intent to alter it later which he did. This screams of ethics violation. Not something I want to be a part of. I did have a positive experience with others talking on the phone trying to schedule the appt but the care... Well, I am not going to be apart of lying.

I never could have gotten through the final stages of my mother’s Alzheimer’s. Encompass Health Care guided me and my mother both through the many varying issues we encountered. I am forever grateful to the help they gave both my mother and myself!!

I am very familiar with how home health works. I was very disappointed in the lack of ethics I witnessed from this company. My grandmother was on their service and was bullied so much by the nurse that I had to make several phone calls to get them to stop. She only needed physical therapy so the nurse should have only been there to open and close. She tried to give my grandmother a bunch of new diagnosis to justify adding constant nursing visits to her schedule. This very much upset and panicked my 94 year old grandma. When I called to cancel the service completely, they informed me the nurse “ had to come back out to discharge.” This is not true. I know you can discharge without physically coming out. I believe this company just wants money and was trying to be paid for a discharge visit. I will never recommend Encompass to anyone.
