I am submitting this review on behalf of my father The service provided today Jan 2nd was very unprofessional and a disservice to my father To walk in a home on a cell call with admin with intent to have him sign forms to delete services because he was not willing to comply to methods provided by an uncaring nurse which caused him great pain is disheartening and it was unprofessional. You already had it planned out to discontinue service!! He has an open wound which blood flow is limited, if it’s not wrapped in a certain way it causes excruciating pain above a level 8 He already hurts but your method inflictes greater pain!! And no he can’t go to the ER every time the pain is great , he would live there if that was the case! I spoke with Sara Barker in regards to this , she did not care , she and the felllow nurse just wanted to delete him from their agency. An 85 year old US Veteran Not someone who was irate or hard to work with All he asked is that his open wound that will not heal , a wound that’s about 7x4 inches in size on the inside of his ankle be wrapped in a manner that does not add more pain. My dad cannot walk , he can’t walk off the pain , he has to sit or lay with pain I asked Ms Barker if it was herself and she was on the other end of the pain would it matter how the service was provided would she sit all day and not try to relieve the pain Her response was it did not matter , it could only be done one way , even if it caused pain !! And because my father Bobby Walker would re wrap the wound to provide relief from the pain Mrs Sara Barker and the assigned nurse prearranged for my dad’s services to be discontinued!!! If the nurse wrapped it properly on a Monday why do it differently the next visit! Shame on you!! This nurse was not compassionate, did not care , didn’t like that my dad was knowledgeable and tried to advise her ! Who should know better about their body than the patient!! All the good nurses that provided good bed side manner has left Common Wealth The VA Doctor from Veterans clinic advised how it needed to be wrapped so additional pain would not be caused Common Wealth failed this Veteran Shame on you!! Hopefully we will find a Home Health Care Service that can assist my dad in a more compassionate manner You did what you set out to do today , discontinue services to an elderly person in need! May you reap what you sow!! I pray God heals my dads leg

They come and see their residents at Stratford Rehab. Their staff is amazing. They came in dressed up as Santa Clause, the Grinch, Mrs.Clause. The passed out presents and Christmas Cheer. Thank you
