I really appreciate the services provided by Human touch home health for my mother, very professional, caring, and supportive nurses, keeping in touch with updates about appointments, working with my schedule, and skilled care by Osman and Ellen was impressive. Thank you for bringing my mom back to baseline along with support from physical therapy. I highly recommend Human Touch home health to anyone who needs it. Appreciate all the work you do and lives you touch with compassion. Thank you!!

I used Human Touch for my father’s OT, PT, and at-home nursing. Overall, the experience was mixed. The occupational therapist, Julie, was excellent — she truly helped my father and was by far the best OT he has worked with. The nurse was fine and kind as well. However, the physical therapy was disappointing and concerning. The PT assigned to my father did not seem to like him and made questionable professional decisions. She insisted he no longer needed a walking aid after only two visits — one session outside and one with exercises inside. Despite her recommendation, my father was clearly unsafe walking unassisted. Even his doctors disagreed immediately just by watching him walk. It was frustrating trying to trust the professional while knowing she was wrong. The most serious issue, however, came after my father’s discharge. Human Touch sent him someone else’s full medical records by mistake. We did not realize this until over a month later when he was finally able to check his mail. I called Human Touch to report the issue, only to find out that the other patient had also received my father's private health information. This is a major HIPAA violation. Instead of immediately acknowledging the seriousness of the situation, the front desk staff tried to downplay it and incorrectly told me it wasn't a violation. They claimed they retrieved the records from the other patient, but I have no way of knowing what was done with my father's information during that time. They said they would retrieve the incorrect records from my father too — but no one ever showed up. When I attempted to escalate the issue to their main office, I was bounced back to the same person who mishandled it in the first place. Their explanation — that the staff member who mailed everything "no longer works here" — was vague and unacceptable. I have since filed a report for the HIPAA violation. While we appreciated the care from the OT and nurse, I cannot recommend Human Touch because of the poor handling of serious issues, the dismissive attitude toward patient safety, and the major breach of privacy.

We used Human Touch Home Health after my husband had his stroke in January 2023. Based on the kind of stroke he had we were told to expect a slow recovery if he even recoverd at all. He came home in March 2023 and was unable to get out of bed, had a feeding tube and no movement on his left side. Thanks to all the wonderful staff at Human Touch(Chery PT, McKenzie PT, McKenzie OT, Sheila OT, Lauren for speech & Gabriella health aid, my husband is walking with a walker, has movement on his left side and his speech is much improved. He was discharged to outpatient therapy in August 2023 and none of this would have happened without the amazing care we received from Human Touch. I highly recommend this agency.

I have been with Human Touch Home Health for at least four years. They have been very helpful trying to teach me to walk on a walker after I broke both hips. From teaching me how to walk, nursing care, to teaching me how take a shower and wash my hair. I have been in a couple of situations where I personally asked for Human Touch Home Health. If need be I will ask for them again.

We have used Human Touch twice for my husband following surgeries. I was very pleased with the services that he received from his Physical Therapist, Cheryl. She was so personable, and positive, and we got great results from her working with him. She was able to get him to use stairs, which the orthopedist had thought wouldn’t happen again!
