I used Hope in Home during my mother’s treatment for metastatic breast cancer 6 years ago. As a long-distance caregiver and commuting, already getting assistance from family and friends, I needed more support, but unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The first aide was unprofessional — arriving late, bringing her children to my mom’s home, and even asking her for bus fare. The second aide was inattentive, often on her phone or asleep in another room, and ultimately let my mother fall, which caused visible injuries. I had a hidden camera in the home, which only one family member knew about, so I was able to confirm much of what was happening when I wasn’t there. We let go both of them. While we did have some wonderful evening aides (Neeka, Dejah, and Ms. Susie), the overall lack of screening, training, and professionalism was troubling. I did have to switch companies when my mother's condition changed and she went into hospice, but I was able to retain those three aides. Communication and accountability were lacking with Hope In Home, and it’s disheartening to see that, based on recent reviews, not much has changed. I recommend families trust their instincts, do thorough research, and prioritize caregivers who treat their loved ones with dignity and respect.

I give hope and home the best rating I could give. They are pleasant kindhearted and very understanding. They have been a jewel to my son from day one. Thank your all for all you do. I would refer them to any one.

Our aide was hospitalized on Fri night. We called the office sat morn... Lady was rude on phone with me . Then was supposed to schedule someone else to come sat... Then called me Mon late afternoon to say they still looking for an aide?!?? Then sent an aide who walked into my home without knocking.

The aide I have izzy is the best. If it wasn't for her I would drop this company as fast as they drop me when I have Medicaid issues. The owner is the worst person I have spoken to. I have never met someone that is so uncaring about their patients. I understand it's a business but he could atleast act like he cares about disabled people that need help. Horrible person.

This agency is the absolute WORST!! After having a nurse come to my home to do an overview on the day my granddaughter graduated I have not received an home health aid. I patiently waited over a month for the agency to find someone only to be disappointed when the rep called and ask could the young lady start Monday instead of her scheduled which was last Friday. Today is Monday and at 10:15 the agency called and said the girl quit!! They called 15 minutes after the scheduled time..horrible
