Unprofessional. The "owner" doesn't have a clue what's going on.

Had a home health care professional coming in twice a week to care for my 84 year old father who is paralized on one side due to a stroke. Very happy with the individual who was assigned to us, however 3 weeks ago she seemed ill and I let her know she didn't need to come on the next scheduled day if she still felt ill. Since she left the home that day, she did not return and we were not notified by the agency as to whether she was ok, or when/if she would be returning. I left multiple voice mails with the company as I was concerned about her, but they did not respond. I had her personal cell number and left multiple messages on that, with no response. The agency, nor the caretaker returned my calls. Last night after 3 weeks I successfully made contact with her only to find out the day after she worked at my parent's home she tested positive for COVID-19 was was hospitalized for 4 days. Needless to say I was extremely concerned that she had exposed my father, my mother and myself to the virus. I called first thing the next morning and had to leave a voice mail. Some 2 hours later they returned my call and I expressed my concern and fear that we had been exposed. I ultimately was transfered to Mr. Morrison. He seemed unconcerned, claimed he did not know she had tested positive and was hospitalized. He downplayed the whole situation by telling me that over 14 days had passed and if we weren't sick by now, then we were ok. I explained that we could have been A-symptonamtic and that we had all been around countless individuals during this three week period. Again, he seemed unconcerned. I questioned how it could be possible that an employee of his agency, in the home health care profession, could miss work, be hospitalized for that length of time and there was no communication by them with the employee or his clients. EXTREMLEY clueless and careless during these very serious times, especially with the elderly. I don't recommend them.
