Very unprofessional overall with the exception of a few. I definitely wouldn’t use them if I didn’t have to. They were good in the hospital but home health has been a horrible experience.

Well, my loved one has multiple sclerosis he had a catheter that was having problems. The problem was is that the after hours nurse did not know how to handle it so she called the ambulance and said that he would have to have a super pub and ended up and she also told me that they would take him back as he loved his nurse CRAIGEN She’s about the best worker there is there. Needless to say I called talk to Sierra his social worker and everyone they did him dirty. They sent him to the hospital sent him to rehab and refused to take him back. They don’t want to take anybody back. Time with anybody and even the Aid quit because she didn’t wanna bathe him because he smokes which goes out the window. He’s got a fan right there. Needless to say he still a human being. I’m gonna give you a one star What you did was dirty we miss CRAIGEN But the rest of y’all won’t last long at this rate the way you treat people

This rating is about their hospice care. I'm not going into all of the details, but they made the last hours of my mother's life extremely stressful, and it just didn't have to be that way. An unqualified hospice nurse was sent, and it was a disaster. We did use them for at home PT previously, and that was fine.

James River Hospice was what our family needed during our moms illness. They responded to every call I made quickly. We received supplies and medicine efficiently. But, most of all the love and care that they provided to my mom was over and beyond. Clarisse was an Angel sent to us on the night of mom's passing and I will be ever so grateful for her help, love and compassion. We couldn't have done this without the team of these very compassionate people.
