Ira and Tabitha were great! So nice and did what they could to fit me in to what I understand is a busy schedule for all in home nursing agencies. They didn’t say anything about being overwhelmed but I heard nurses at my appointments talking about the overwhelmed home health situation. They were willing to be as flexible as I had to ask them to reschedule a few times. Tabitha brought out a trainee once, Tasha?, and she will fit in fantastic. They kept an eye out for infection so I didn’t lose my toe or foot. If I could give them higher than 5 stars I would. I give them 15 out of 10 stars!

This was the 2 nd time I had used Amedisys for my in home therapy needs and having OT, PT, and Skilled Nursing in my home was definitely a further advantage towards my recovery once returning home from rehabilitation. Amedisys nurses and therapist are exceptionally skilled in their respective duties and consistently provide relevant training to the patient. The only downfall was my insurance which was very slow to initially respond to get my services started and then of course reauthorized for continued services when still needed. .
