I, too have had the worse experience with Fauquier Home Health. The doctor sent orders for my 96 year old mother due to declining health. The orders were sent in 10 days ago. I have called twice asking when they would schedule visits. I was told I would receive a call 4 days ago. I never heard from anyone. Our doctor has called twice to no avail. STAY away from this group. They do not care about any prospective patients.

I have never left a negative review but I feel strongly that others need information before making a decision regarding care for a loved one. I have worked with this agency for approximately one month. I contacted them regarding my mother who needed in-home care as her medical situation was declining. I have been so frustrated regarding the lack of responsiveness (calls were never returned) - from the director as well as several of the home health nurses. Today I contacted the director when a nurse visited my mom. This nurse was not made aware of a safety situation and was not educated on my mom's healthcare or necessary medications needed to treat her. The doctor's office faxed orders over to Fauquier Home Health on Monday. I also called on Monday - no return call. I couldn't imagine that a medical facility could be so unprofessional, unresponsive and sometimes even rude (receptionist). My daughter googled Fauquier Health and discovered they recently moved from a safety rating of "D" to a "C". We are switching to another service. Sadly, I did know about Fauquier's reputation but I have now experienced it first hand. My recommendation is to use UVA Health in Culpepper, Haymarket or Prince William. I do not want someone else to go through what I have gone through trying to get my mom medical care.

We received two months of home care services from Fauquier Health Home Care after my father’s hospitalization for heart failure. He had speech therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy and an aide who helped with bathing. All the aides were professional, courteous and helpful. I was there for nearly all of the appointments and observed their attention to detail, patience, promptness and flexibility. A year later, after Dad moved, we used another agency and saw the stark difference in the level of care that made Fauquier Health shine. That said, this review is applicable for 2018. We heard there were management changes going on and so things might be different now. But we were pleased then with their services and we have high standards.
