EXTREMELY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE !! My mom has severe dementia & is a high level fall risk. If you value your loved ones do not allow this agency to care for them. She received extended hrs of care & when one of the Aides called out- Specialty let me know 15 minutes after the shift started. Instead of paying the Aide that was already there waiting for a relief that was not gonna show. The coordinator Surafel instructed the Aide to clock out & leave my mother in her home alone “clearly knowing she could very easily harm herself”. It was crystal clear that my mother’s life had no value. The Aide called me and simply told me that her compassion & training just couldn’t allow her to leave my mom alone. She went on to explain that she just have to work for free, because Specialty was not & did not pay her for taking the correct action & standing by my mother. The same Coordinator lies regularly, is very deceitful, then tells more lies in an attempt to cover up the deceit. Upper management , ie Mrs. Whiting, Mrs. Johnson has repeatedly supported these actions- this is why the coordinator is so comfortable putting my mom in position to possibly kill herself. I Immediately started the process of removing my mom from this agency. If you are looking for an agency that has 0 value for your loved one, then this is the place to be. It has become so stressful to have to watch over the team that’s supposed to be trusted to care for my mom. The Aides often seem stressed, because their superiors are the ones encouraging them to mistreat my mom. Which creates an unhealthy environment for her. Whoever is ready this, I implore you to not trust this agency to care for your loved one. There’s several more issues, but to choose $$ over my mother’s life was the last straw. DO NOT OVERLOOK WHAT I AM SAYING, I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT. I am hoping that sharing my experience saves someone’s life. Stevie P
