The level of incompetence here is off the charts. Their willingness to help patients or even attempt to solve problems is practically nonexistent. Honestly, it doesn’t just start at zero—it’s buried so deep that even if we dug all the way to China, their laziness and underperformance still couldn’t be measured. That’s how truly awful they are. For two months, we have called every single day, and no one ever picked up the phone. This is the prescribing doctor’s office—yet they can’t see a patient for weeks, and at the same time they refuse to refill the medications of patients who are over 90 years old. What exactly are people supposed to do if you won’t see them and you won’t refill their prescriptions? Just go ahead and die? How unbelievably careless and disinterested can you be? Is there even a way to measure that level of negligence? And when we finally did get through to your staff, they acted like robots—repeating the same script without offering a single real solution, and certainly without ever stopping to think. Are you insane? How do you even operate like this? Is there anything you’re not terrible at?

Ive been coming here for a few years and it seems to only get worse as time goes by. This place has no parking for patients at all and some of their wings have no AC! The wait time for the provider to come see you has become too long or even for the nurse to call you back.wait time is 30+ minutes and no one ever updates you if the doctor is running behind! As for front desk they all seem really nice and friendly except when it comes to a receptionist named Julianna, she is EXTREMELY rude and seems to always have a bad attitude. The way she asks for payments and copays is really unprofessional and always says it with an attitude! I’ve seen her multiply times say really loud others balances trying to shame them, not long ago I was able to witness how one of the patients walked out after how she demanded for the payment making that person feel like they couldn’t be seen without paying first. I really don’t understand how she’s still even there. She’s extremely rude and unprofessional and should really keep her attitude and unprofessionalism at home!

I've been a patient at SeaMar Medical Center in South Park for about 12 years, and while the facilities could use a facelift, the care I've received has always been exceptional. My entire family, including my three kids, comes here because we trust the team, especially our family doctor, Daniel Rivas. He’s been with us since my first pregnancy when he was just a resident, and from that very first appointment, I knew we were in good hands. His genuine care and attention to his patients make every visit feel unrushed and thorough. Dr. Rivas is truly a diamond in the rough, and I’m grateful for the wonderful care he and his team have provided to our family over the years. His nurses and assistants are consistently friendly, and I can honestly say I've never had a bad experience with them. Even when they're running behind schedule due to late appointments or being short-staffed, they handle everything professionally and with kindness. Beyond the medical care, I appreciate the range of community services they offer, from helping families set up WIC and healthcare coverage to providing a mini food bank. The addition of an on-site pharmacy is a great convenience as well. Overall, while the facilities could benefit from some updates, the quality of care and the dedication of the staff make SeaMar Medical Center in South Park a place I wholeheartedly recommend.

I'm surprised to see all the hate on here for Dr. Kim Carney. I've never experienced this 'attitude' from her that other people are seeing. She's always been pleasant and helpful to me. I have diabetes, arthritis, high cholesterol, and other chronic conditions so my appts usually take some time and she's never been rushed or rude to me about it. I can understand frustration on her part at times because they way overbook here and it takes at least 2 months to get an appointment. Everybody has bad days, including doctors and I suppose people only do reviews to point out the negative (myself included). Anyways, I've decided to change clinics to Fransiscan because/ A. My PCP Kim left the clinic/ B. A lot of the staff there, including at the pharmacy, have very heavy accents and trying to understand them over the phone is a frustrating situation. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with their pharmacy once JUST trying to see if my meds were ready and the lady i was talking to spoke very broken English. Finally the pharmacist got on to help me. I know this isn't their fault but I dont have time to sit on the phone while someone is trying to learn the language./ C. This place is not clean, it's very rundown/ and D. It takes FOREVER to get an appt! The staff has always been pleasant tho, so 2 stars for that.
