Our close family Friend's mom came to Eden Hospice in Renton as a patient with end-stage dementia. She shared with me how wonderful her experience was and how great the nurse Madison was. Madison spent a lot of time explaining everything to them and was very thorough and responsive. Unfortunately, her mom passed quickly but they felt supported by Eden Hospice during their time on service. Thank you, Nurse Madison for your awesome support of my friends!

No call no show nurses, incompetent nurses, Leslie the manager takes zero responsibility for dropping patients if the assigned nurse goes on vacation and a temporary needs to provide care, always have to leave voicemails because they don’t pick up the phone and good luck getting a call back within 24 hours so I hope it is not an emergency. They create more stress trying to fight for them to provide the care that should be providing while they complain that 250 patients is too much to manage for them.

You know a place is good when they call to check on you a lot. Then they go above and beyond to assist you with your loved one with anything needed. They were compassionate and helped her so much! Then they check on you after your loved one passes to make sure you have someone to talk to during this hard time. They respected our beliefs, and gave us assistance in one of the most difficult times in our lives. I don’t know who organized this place and people but the services are really appreciated. I just got their letter. A final letter after the one year anniversary of losing our loved one to check on us! Who does that? Gratitude from this family.

The hospice experience isn't like I thought it would be. But this group has a grasp on what survivors and the dying person may be going through more than another organization. I prefer this hospice over others in that they really try to understand the situation and each situation is different. I do wish their social worker was more available, but as far as everything else they do, I would give them a high rating. It's a time when support is badly needed and they offer it without judgement and with compassion for the individual need. Everyone that was involved was really helpful in helping me advocate for my Loved One and that was what I needed with our medical system being the way it is.
