I would give negative stars if I could. THEY diagnosed me with 4 different things all of which were serious. Plus I didnt have any of them buut then they sent me home with no antibiotics. The nurses are literally wearing treat them and yeet them badges for everyone to see. They just wanna fill you up with fluids and then kick you to the curb. If they haven't already killed some they will very soon your hospital is dangerous ypu should be ashamed of yourselves and med care providers. Also I had a nurse and actually scream at me at 4 in the morning because I wanted to take a piss smh.

My experience with the OB team was horrific to say the least. I had inhepatic cholestasis of pregnancy and gestational diabetes and was very ill. Those doctors would NOT approve my FMLA while pregnant with VERY valid conditions and to me that is unlawful and they are going to put people’s jobs at risk unlawfully. I tried to file complaint with hospital, never heard back from them. I switched all my doctors over to UPMC doctors in PA at 7 months pregnant, they had NO issue with my FMLA being approved for my very real and serious condition while pregnant.

This emergency room is an absolute joke. I was escorted to the hospital by ambulance on 12/18/25. I was chronically bleeding out from between my legs (had laparoscopic surgery on 12/4/25). When we came in it’s like I wasn’t even an emergency they put me in the hallway for a hour and left me in my own blood. They finally put me in a room, the smallest room and they left me again with no monitor. My parents had to yell at someone to come and take care of me and get Dr. Corcoran. Instead a random gynecologist came in to check me to see what was going on, they tried to put an adult spec in me mind you I’m 15, virgin, and just had surgery. Didn’t go very well. And no one knocks my body is out in the open and they are just coming in and out without covering me. Also out of this entire thing they only checked my vitals ONCE and my blood count ONCE and didn’t check it again after I lost a huge blood clot. Finally Dr. Corcoran came in when my body was full adrenaline and threw up and passed the blood clot. And one more thing they didn’t clean me up or the area very well. Was sent to children’s hospital after. I would rate this a -10009 if I could worst experience. Thank you for traumatizing experience.

My experience for OB services and my labor & delivery was AMAZING. I had an emergency c-section and was taken care of so well by Dr. Carmona, the surgical team, and my team of nurses. I originally was supposed to give birth in Canton, but because of an emergency situation I had to go to my closest hospital which was Weirton. My experience from intake to discharge was so great if there is another baby in my future I will be going to Weirton for all of my pregnancy/delivery needs. I also talked to medical billing today (I’ve heard they are hard to deal with) and I had a great experience with them as well. No long wait time, all my questions were answered, bills were explained, and payment was taken with no issue and I was off the phone in 10 minutes. Great experience across the board

this hospital is absolutely TERRIBLE. If I could give negative stars I would. My daughter has a temp of 103 and was up all night with a croupy cough. She Couldn’t catch her breath to where I gave her the inhaler multiple times. Like more than the recommended dose because I didn’t know what else to do. Went to the ER, they told me “it’s just a cold” and push fluids and she’ll be fine. If you think I’m paying 300 dollars for a dose of ibuprofen you’re out of your mind. They didn’t even put us in a room with a bed. I had to sit with my daughter on my lap in a metal chair for 2.5 hours. FOR NOTHING. The doctor didn’t even listen to a word I was saying probably because he couldn’t hear me to begin with. I fought with him that this is not right and he still discharged me and said there is nothing they can do. I will NEVER be back there again. Couldn’t even hear me talking then you definitely couldn’t hear the fact that my daughter 100% has croup and needs a steroid for the inflammation. Save yourself the copay and go to UPMC.
