My experience with Heartland was during the most difficult time in my life when my wife Mary was diagnosed with glioblastoma. The team helped us understand the changes she was having and how to care for her. She wanted to be in our home for her final days and she passed there peacefully. We wouldn’t have been able to honor her final wishes without the helpful, caring and responsive caregivers from Heartland. I can not thank them enough for their efforts.

Heartland is heartless! My mother was on Hospice and heartland kicked her off and told us several times they would not remove her bed and lift and special chair before we were able to get new ones. They came and took everything with no warning. It was a nightmare! Plus she should have never been kicked off .....she can do nothing for herself..not feed herself, not dress, not bathroom or use her hands at all. Now a month later we have to apply for hospice again. These people are had no empathy. Horrible, awful experience !!I f i could give them negative stars I would!! They should call themselves HEARTLESS!!!

We enjoy having Lili RNCM take care of our residents here at Caretta! She is knowledgeable, compassionate and always makes sure we have everything we need. We need more LILI’s in the nursing world!

We used Heartland Hospice 5 years ago when my dad was passing and had a very positive experience with Heartland. Less than 2 months ago, we began services with Heartland for my mom. It has been a completely different experience and nothing short of a disaster. After almost 8 weeks of incompetence, last week I received a call from Heartland telling me that after further review with their medical team, it was determined that my mom no longer needed their services and they were terminating her contract. To be clear, nothing changed in regards to my mom's health from the date we started services nor had the list of "care items" we were hoping Heartland could help our family with. In essence, the left hand does not know what the right hand is doing at Heartland and communication is a 1 on a scale of 1 to 10. There are many other hospice services in the greater Green Bay area and I recommend you look at other providers for your loved ones needs and bypass Heartland Hospice.

Heartland Hospice used to be a name with integrity...now it is only focused on profits rather than people. There are many better, more compassinate options when looking for care for a loved one.
