Dad spent 39 days at the Hospice Home of Hope in September and October 2025. We can’t say enough about the facility, its grounds/setting, and the tremendous staff that made this the perfect place for Dad’s final few weeks. We had a bit of a scramble to quickly find a home for Dad after what we thought was our first choice fell through. In hindsight, that was a blessing, as the Hospice Home of Hope was a much, much better fit for Dad’s needs. During the first beautiful drive in the driveway on a clear fall day, we felt optimistic. The 20-room facility is tucked in between fields of corn, lawns, and a small pond. The rooms are sound-isolated, large, clean, and homey. We were able to hang lots of Dad’s family pictures and keepsakes on the walls. There was enough room to bring over a few smaller pieces of furniture and an old captain’s chair long held in Dad’s family. Best of all were the staff. Kind, compassionate, caring, capable, and fun. They keyed off Dad’s sense of humor. The would bring him his beer and wine when he wanted it and serve him food he really liked. The hospice would also let Mom eat meals with Dad, letting her place orders for what she wanted. Sister Josephine from the convent next door would visit Dad frequently, saying prayers with him. The onsite chaplain would stop periodically too to chat. We highly recommend the Hospice Home of Hope for anyone needing full-time hospice care. It treated our entire family (and tons of visitors) with the utmost respect and compassion.

Very nice and peaceful place. It was difficult getting my LO here because of the way they did their assessment. The staff has been top notch, all of them.

This place is amazing. So glad we chose this place for my Mom. The staff were kind and caring. The room she had was wonderful, had a great view of the deer, turkeys and birds that came to visit. Would highly recommend.
