I would like to thank Mission Creek for the wonderful night we had with mom, family and friends at their Oktoberfest!!! It was a lovely evening we all enjoyed. The food was great and the band was good. The staff did a fantastic job. The service was superb and they were all so nice and friendly. I know they put in a lot of time and effort in for this event and we appreciate everything they did. I loved all their costumes. Mission Creek has a lot of activities and special events for their residents. They really try to keep their residents active. Thank you to the entire staff at Mission Creek.

I want to thank Mission Creek and everybody thus far who works there for taking care of my mom. This is a bit wordy but very factual written by a son who adores his mom and I call balls and strikes down the middle... My mom moved into Mission Creek on a solid referral and after my brother and I toured it mid-August 2025. Up to this point I had very little experience with senior living communities other than some friends who had parents in them. I had some help with an independent broker referral on Mission Creek along with doing my own homework on homes that would be a good fit for my mom. I knew it was going to be a difficult transition for my now 89 year old mom who has Parkinson's Disease because she lived independently in a condo till that point. My mom is very social but I knew this was going to be a different experience. Kat Sussek who works in the admission/sales/marketing part of Mission Creek was very good to work with. No pressure and very informative and patient. Nearly 45 days into living at Mission Creek and my mom is really enjoying her new home. She has a very nice suite and large bathroom. She has space to decorate and furnish as she chooses. Mom has freedom to do whatever she wants. She has made friends and enjoys the staff very much. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful Oktoberfest event at Mission Creek several days ago. It was buzzing around the dining room with a German four piece band and the entire staff was helping and serving up German cuisine. Mom and another resident have taken to doing a crossword puzzle and putting together a 1000 piece puzzle at a side room. The staff goes out of its way to be social and get to know the residents and the residents respond positively. My mom loves the interaction. The caregivers that come to the room are very nice and helpful when help is needed along with bringing in meds on time and with a little glass of water. The staff overall has been very active from what I've seen. Rachel is the first person you see when you enter Mission Creek and she is a sweetheart. Loved by all that come into contact with her. She has the patience of a saint. She knows the answer or can get the answer for you regarding any help you need or with whats going on at Mission Creek. Jordyn and Kaley have taken an active role in getting to know my mom and Kaley goes on walks with my mom in the hallways or one of several courtyards or even to the park across the street. The biggest complaint I've heard about senior homes is the food is not good. I have asked my mom many times about the food and she has raved about it. She enjoys three meals a day and can order off menu as well if she chooses. Anthony Garcia is the chef and dining director and he knocks it out of the park. His menu selections are spot on and his social demeanor is excellent. The residents love it when he comes out to check on them. He works the room very well. My mom turned 89 a couple weeks ago and Mission Creek has a sunroom you can reserve to hold events or celebrations. We celebrated with cake and refreshments and the room held 38 people quite nicely. I believe we have reserved it for a holiday celebration already as well. The process of deciding on transitioning to a senior home for a loved one is difficult enough. Many factors to consider. I've been there. Give Mission Creek a shot. Take a tour...

The management team there is a joke. High end senior living? Far from it. The hallways more than often smell like human waste coming from the residents tiny rooms. Turnover rate is very high. The workers that have been there the longest are the laziest I have ever seen. They get away with it because they regularily pick up 16 hour shifts so management does not have to cover anything. When I realized these "managers" were on salary it all made sense. There are call ins all the time. If there are call ins on 2nd shift and they are understaffed, management will not stay and help. Why would they when they get the same paycheck for not staying and helping. Which can mean a single caregiver and a med passer are responsible for an entire section themselves. There are too many residents and it is overwhelming. Weekends are bad. If you want the ideal Mission Creek experience, come on a weekend day early in the morning or after dinner. The residents are paying tons of money for a handful of lazy employees and an even lazier management team. The only thing management is good at is making sure they work as little hours as possible. My suggestion to the corporate office is to pay more attention to the people running the building on what they're actually doing and how long they're actually in the building.

Mission Creek has the kindest, most compassionate and caring people. I was fortunate to spend a couple of months here, and from the start, I found the employees to be a warm, attentive, and truly dedicated. Activities were fun and engaging and the food was consistently delicious. Chef Tony and his team went above and beyond to accommodate likes and dislikes, always checking in to ensure meals were enjoyed. Vegas, one of the kitchen staff with a joy to be around, making sure to include residents, who prefer to sit alone in conversations. Caregivers like Sky, Dominique and Marissa stood out with their genuine kindness, treating me with respect and compassion. Call lights were answered with lightning speed. I was a nurse myself, and have never seen such prompt responses. The move in process with Kat was seamless. She went above and beyond by offering a virtual tour, and even arranging an in person tour for my sister when she came to town. Rachel at the front Desk was not only knowledgeable, but also incredibly sweet and helpful whenever I had questions,. Kaylee and Cat, the nurses, were very responsive and always made me feel truly cared for. Mission Creek made my stay feel like home and I am so grateful for the dedicated staff made such a difference in my life.
