Wow, where to begin? Firstly, I'd like to say most of the nurses and doctors are very intelligent, helpful and professional people who are stuck in a broken system. Many of them are kind and highly competent. I don't blame them at all for the hospital's many shortfalls. The electronic systems at the hospital are terrible, scheduling can be problematic at best. Internal communication, even within the same department, is horrible. Notes will be put into a patient's account and apparently no one bothers to read them. This hospital wildly overbills and overcharges, even after sending out estimates for the service you are scheduled to receive. Simple things like routine bloodwork cost 2-5 times the cost of everywhere else. The billing department apparently is trained by vicious mob loan sharks. Unprofessional is just the tip of the iceberg. Lack of appropriate training of staff throughout the organization is a consistent feature of Sheridan Hospital, especially in administration, which puts all the burden of responsibility on the patient. Poor customer service, ineffective internal communication, slow response to patients, sky high pricing, inconsistent polices and billing, poorly implemented technology, management's clear 'shut up and pay' attitude; there is almost no end to the poor experience. If you have any choice, go elsewhere.

I want to start off with there are a lot of bad reviews but mine won’t be one. I can’t stress this enough night shift will ALWAYS be my favorite my son came in yesterday and needed 3 staples in his head. We got there and they instantly got us back the whole team was AMAZING once they got him taken care of my son walked out the room and made friends with all of the staff and passed out hugs😂 they are all so kind! At the end of our visit they gave my son and his brother a popsicle. They worked quick and did amazing thank you all for making sure my baby was okay

Great experience from the moment I limped into the ER. Staff was very fun and personable. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience when I was dealt with some unfortunate circumstances while visiting.

The poor leadership even shows here in the reviews of this hospital. So far they haven’t communicated with people who have had poor experiences under their care. I experienced the same-in person . A surgery i did not want was scheduled, a possible HIPAA violation from Dr Sara McGuire, and being treated like a child by conditioning me to act like a girl instead of a woman is all problematic. Then they blamed me?. Why? Because I stood up for myself? Because I noticed? (Aka systemic misogyny) Hospital leadership will seek retribution instead of working on solutions. If you want to participate in receiving good care, you should look elsewhere for good care. I was told to contact a patient advocate who then illegally mishandled the HIPAA violation sending me on a goose chase. I would share again with an advocate at the hospital. They are not patient advocates. They are hospital advocates who gather information to use against you. I want to make sure to add, technicians and nurses were wonderful people trying to make a bad situation better. However, I can’t review the institution based on fantastic techs and nurses when leadership focuses on retribution instead of care. Sheridan Hospital chooses not to care.
